Created in the wake of a mastectomy, Post / Op documents my body’s healing process through line. With limited mobility post-surgery, I drew lines on canvas while performing daily recovery exercises. Stretching 6’ x 30’, the canvas roll is a topographic map, tracing pain and incremental change. It is both a gesture of reclaiming agency and a visual record my recovery — drawing as rehabilitation.
